Top Medical Apps Performance in Kenya Q1 2025

During the first quarter of 2025, the top medical apps in Kenya showed varying trends in downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

HIV-TEST by Merezha experienced a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting from just under 100 and peaking at over 10K in early February. Active users also grew from 1.8K to a peak of 11.4K mid-quarter before declining to around 5.6K by the end of March.

Smart Access ! from Smart Applications International Limited maintained a consistent download rate, fluctuating between 1.3K and 3.5K. Active users for this app remained strong, increasing from 51K to nearly 70K throughout the quarter.

Microphone Amplifier by DOSA Apps saw weekly downloads initially rise to 2.2K, before gradually declining to just over 160 by the end of March. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at 1.3K before falling to 492.

Afyangu demonstrated a sharp increase in downloads, starting from 223 in early March and rising to nearly 8K by the end of the month.

Finally, MSD Manual Professional from Merck Sharp & Dohme LLC showed steady growth in downloads, peaking at 1.1K in mid-March. Active users increased from 965 to 1.8K before a slight decline to 1.5K at the quarter's end.
